In order to track your Ad Clicks on your flash banners, you will need to create them in a slightly different format.

Here's the steps for Swishmax:

Click Script tab.
Click "Add Script -> Events -> Button -> on(release)"
Click "Add Script -> Browser/Network -> getURL()"
In the "URL:" field enter '_root.click' (minus the quotes)
Click on "(e)" next to the "URL:" field to turn off the quotes around _root.click.

The script should look like:

>on (release) {
   getURL(_root.click);
}

Export the file as a .swf

To allow the tracking of clicks please create the following action in your banner's button:

on (release) {
   getURL(_root.click);
}

If you have audio in your banner it must be activated by clicking on it, not autoplay.

If you embed the link in the banner file make sure the clickable area covers the entire banner. Links work best if the hotspot area is the top most layer.

Please check file size does not exceed the spec size. This is the most common problem. Unlike static banners .jpg, .gif we can't adjust the file size by optimizing the file.
